About us

Who we are?

I’d love to introduce ourselves and share a little about how we were inspired to create Lazarus.

We live in beautiful New Zealand, in a small coastal town, have twins Isaac and Amy and a cheeky puppy named Lulu.

We love God and are passionate about people and living a life full of generosity, integrity and righteousness.

Lazarus is our baby. We believe it can make a difference.

We believe in the importance of leaving a legacy.

We believe it will be a blessing.

We created the Lazarus Foundation for those very reasons. We wanted this journey to be our ‘mission for good’.

Having lost beloved parents, some very recent, highlighted to us how, in the blink of an eye, valuable life stories can be lost forever. And these stories we do already hold onto, fade away over time, eventually lost to future generations.

So, when the Lord planted this seed of an idea into Andrew’s head one afternoon, whilst sitting in a Californian Hotel room, we knew we had to follow through.

Thus, Lazarus came to be.

Ray Lee

Head of Product

I am a digital agency owner that specialises in UI/UX, development and digital marketing, I got drawn into the digital void 12 years ago when people were still looking up businesses through the yellow pages. Previously working as a sustainable architectural consultant, I saw potential and opportunities in the digital landscape, which enticed me to change my career and go back to square one. With a design-heavy background, I have taught myself coding which allows me to take a holistic approach to any projects I work on.

In my spare time, I enjoy things like self-development, volunteering, being a couch potato and watching the same movies over and over again. After coming back from a big volunteering trip in Vietnam, it changed how I viewed the world and I realised there is so much more we can do to make the world a better place. I believe startups that help people solve problems in an ethical way are the most successful ones.

Lazarus has been a labour of love, many hours have been spent perfecting each facet of the website/app and I couldn't be prouder of what we have achieved.

Gary Lin

Head of Technology

I have worked in the software engineering industry for over 10 years. I'm an adventurer, explorer and challenger in technology with rich experience in both frontend and backend development, including mobile and web apps, API designs, system infrastructures, cloud services and basically everything about the latest technology in software and system development.

Working smarter, not harder is one of my life’s motto’s. As a developer, I thrive on problem solving because I gain knowledge whilst accomplishing what I’m passionate about. I am immensely proud of what we have created and excited to see where the Lazarus road takes us.
